About The Pastor

William H. Aberdeen -- Senior Pastor

Pastor William H. Aberdeen was born and raised in Newlands Village Biche, a small town on the island of Trinidad. Throughout his life in Trinidad William attended St. Paul's Baptist church (which has since been changed to World Changers Ministry), where his father was the pastor. At the age of 20 he married his girlfriend Graceline Hamilton, a young woman from his village whom he fell deeply in love with. During his time working as a prison officer he developed a close friendship with his supervisor who eventually inspired him to come to America for a visit. William left his wife and two kids in Trinidad and came to America only planning to stay for a few weeks. But God had a different plan.

After spending some time here in America, William felt that it was God's will for him to stay and bring his family here to be with him, and that's exactly what he did. Graceline, his wife, came to be with him three months after he left and then It took three years before they were reunited with their children. God worked everything out for them in the right time and they have been together ever since.

It was not William's dream to be a pastor; as a matter of fact it was the very last thing he wanted to do. After seeing all that his father had to do and endured as the pastor of their home church, William had made up in his mind that being a pastor was not for him, even though he felt the call on his life early on.

William and his family were worshipers and would travel to different churches to minister. At a conference where their worship team was invited to lead worship, a word from the Lord came from one of the pastors. He said that there was someone with a call on their life for Pastoring and they were running from it but it was time to stop running and answer the call. William felt like it was him but he reasoned within himself that maybe it was someone else and if no one came he would talk to the pastor later. No one came up and during the conference lunch break William found the pastor and confessed that the man he was looking for was him.
